This photo from Brenda Wells via Margaret 10 Feb 2009. She says:
"And Jimmy?(Isn't this Hywel? It looks to be overwritten!) & Owen. On the back it says Gwladys Maud Williams, 85 Roding Road, Jan 20th 1916. "
Hywel was called Innie around that time - on the LCWilliams 1920 letter, for example. For Inigo, his middle name. It does look as though Jimmy has been written in later, and nothing else. Could someone not understand "Innie"? and guessed?
Owen was born 1911-11-6 so would have been just past 4
Hywel was born 1913-2-8 so would have been very nearly 3.
Those ages match the photo. Hywel would be the younger boy, on the left.
Where are the cap badges from? Can't have been a school at that age then, surely?
