Narrative
Margaret Wells tags this picture of Gwladys and Brenda as 1937, but it looks earlier than that to me. In fact, almost identical to the bridesmaid picture, which we know is 1933.
Combined efforts of Emrys and Margaret at deciphering: :-)
Dear Hywell [sic], Do you think over[leaf] is good enough to adorn your study? How are you keeping free from cold I hope.Ivor is now up looks very weak tho[ugh].Ma is still very low & seems very depressed too but I expect she will be don't you - we are managing fairly well now between one & all. Shall we be seeing you soon? I won a spot prize at a small dance ???(Gulie?) and I went to on Saty last, yours has brought me luck you see. Hope you are fit. Love Gwladys.
Margaret suggest that this might be 1935, when John Thomas Williams died.
