Image from Brenda Wells via Margaret 20 Feb 2009. They say that the man is Dougie, the girl is Brenda Daughter-of-Gwladys, and Gwladys is in the washed-out bit on the right.
To me, the girl looks about 12, which would make Dougie about 18, which looks right. That would be 1934. EJWilliams.

Somebody (and, to my shame, I forget who) said at the Williams family party in Eversholt on 5 sep 2009 that this photo was taken at 6, Thornbury Road.
