From 1832 register of parish of Christ Church and St Leonard, Foster Lane, London, on Ancestry. Only possible! The wife is Ellen Cartwright Hill, and we do know that TSHall's daughter was, by at least one account, Ellen C Hall. The date, 28 May 1832, is a reasonable match for the daughter's birth, 1833 or 1834.
There is an Ellen Hall aged 10 living with a Thomas Hall aged 35 in the Parish of St Marylebow [sic] in the 1841 census. No Mum. But Ellen's age is wrong there, and Thomas is a labourer, not a wine cooper, as Ellen states on her marraige certificate. So that's an outside chance.
