Narrative
From Margaret Wells Christmas 2009. These are photos from Gwladys's archive, passed on through Brenda Wells. Margaret photographed many negatives with a macro lens and a light box to recover these. Emrys picked out the useful ones, photoshopped them to fix exposure problems, and labelled them in Picasa. Margaret checked the labels. The ones with a filename "neg..." were copied from negatives for which no print existed.
Narrative
This is the Roosevelt Memorial in London, opened 1948. In one picture, the adults are definitely Brenda and Gwladys, and the child between them looks like Christing daughter-of-Brenda aged about 13. In the other picture, the male adult looks like Steve Lucy. The woman on the left looks like Vera, but the child is too old for Delwen, I think. Steve Lucy died at the start of 1953.
