Williams Family Tree

email from Emrys to Margaret, aug 22 2011, in reply to one from Margaret mentioning that DJWilliams's daughter, Mavis Treen, ran the Lord Raglan.

Mavis ran the Lord Raglan? That's right next door to the Rising Sun Stores. The chaps in the stores (who seem to be the only people in Cefn to whom we're not related) advised me to go in the pub and look at their photos. They apparently have a lot of old Cefn photos on the walls. But, it wasn't open when I was there, and I had to get back for the funeral in Kettering.

So I guess this must be Mavis's marriage:
Surname First name(s) Spouse District Vol Page
Marriages Jun 1949 (>99%)
Treen Alexander Williams Merthyr T. 8b 752 Scan available - click to view
Williams Mavis Treen Merthyr T. 8b 752 Scan available - click to view

Does that look right?

So this would be David J Williams's marriage - all I have so far is that his wife was Sarah Annie:
Surname First name(s) Spouse District Vol Page
Marriages Dec 1915 (>99%)
Mills David Williams Merthyr T. 11a 1747 Scan available - click to view
Pearce Sarah A Williams Merthyr T. 11a 1747 Scan available - click to view
Williams David J Pearce Merthyr T. 11a 1747 Scan available - click to view
Williams Sarah A Mills Merthyr T. 11a 1747 Scan available - click to view

and it looks like he married Sarah A Pearce because there's this birth:
Births Dec 1926 (>99%)
Williams Mavis Pearce Merthyr T. 11a 1248

and this birth:
Surname First name(s) Mother District Vol Page
Births Sep 1921 (>99%)
Williams Glenys M Pearce Merthyr T. 11a *70*

But I can't find a Nancy. Alice, Mary, Annie? But not Nancy. Does all that look sensible?
