Hi Emrys
I have sorted out some information for you

I have changed to a Linux system. I had intended to use it just for
emails and web stuff but am now thinking I will use it for most things.
Autocat won't run on it so will have to keep some microsoft running.

extract from you email

And I'm sending it because Valerie says:
"Ni did get about - love the hats! I met Tom & Liz Watkins as a child
when we went to Merthyr and various other relatives.
We stayed with Uncle Edgar and wife (can't remember her name)
and their daughter Audrey. She was Joy's age and her father was more like her grandfather.
She was actually dad's cousin. I know we met Tydfil (they called her Tiddy ) -
I remember thinking what an awful name - and Lilian which they didn't shorten."

Olwen remembers the Following

Uncle Edgar s wife was Beatrice

Olwen, Valerie and Audrey liked to stand under the railway bridge scaring themselves
whenever a Train went over the Bridge.

Olwen says she hated having to choose between Bread and Butter or Bread and Jam. Never bread, butter and Jam.

Owen used to relate a story about one evening meal they were served some particularly sour
plums. Owen sarcastically remarked they were "a bit Sweet" . Next night they were served without any sugar at all.
