Ivor Fielder remembers Price Watkins. Was he in the Boer war, IF asks? He was tall.

Narrative
I don't know if the Hugh Price Watkins mentioned on the WWI medal card is our Hugh Price, but I can find no others alive then. If so, he enlisted in the RWF (Royal Welsh Fusiliers?) on 14 Oct 1914 and was discharged 12 feb 1919, having risen to the rank of corporal and been granted the victory medal and the British star. I _think_ that says "Para 392 XVIA KR AO [Army Order] 29/19 [number 29 of 1919]" which could be "Surplus to military requirement. Having suffered impairment since entry into the service."
Narrative
"Hugh Price" was the name of Margaret Price's father, on her marriage certificate. It was also the name of one of Margaret's brothers.
